I never normally post about movement as he's such a wriggle pot but today, he has moved but not kicked as such? Normally I get a few boots :( today Ive had movement but only faint ones??

Has anyone else had this at this point? x

I have a lot of movements but not many kicks until I get into bed xx

Oh I do get booted quite a bit, Im wondering if he has just got quite a bit bigger recently with my diabetes?? I have been laying down for over an hour and only had slight movement :/ do you think I should ring the midwife? or I might just wait till bedtime? I dont know :( x

Try having a really cold drink, and maybe lie down a bit longer if still nothing I'd defo get on to the midwife hun x

Had a few more movements hun...just having tea then going to bed to watch a bit of telly..he does normally perk up a bit then so will see how it goes..

Ill keep you posted :) thanks hun xx

I don't really see much difference - the main thing is that he is moving, isn't it? With time there is much less space for them to kick anyway....

I posted about this the other day as I've noticed I tend to get movements like rolls and wriggles but not kicks anymore. I've come to the conclusion that so long as I'm still getting movement that's ok xx

Movements are movements.. As long as 10 a day then all is fine mw told me..
They are getting too big for kicks now so it's all rolling and shuffling about now.. Elbows and knees stretching out slowly rather than feet and hands reaching out quickly.. If movements really slow down compared to how active baby usually is there's no harm in calling mw and getting monitored for a while for piece of mind.. Try ice cold water and laying on ur left.. My LO is very lazy and sleepy and I always need to do this while being monitored
I'm sure everything is fine hun :)

I find our wee one has quiet days where she doesn't move as much, or she'll just squirm and stretch with only the occasional kick, then she'll have a big burst of energy and be active a lot through the day. Maybe something to do with growth spurts? That said, I wouldn't hesitate to contact your MW if you're worried. That's what she's there for. Good luck!
