is anyone else noticing changes in movement im such a worrier baby is moving somedays from min i wake up till sleep but im getting every few days a day when it hardly moves at all doesnt matter what i try to get it moving it just being a bugger and not! is this normal?

Hiya,

From all the baby books i read it says that the later through the pregnancy the baby sleeps 80% of the time and starts to run out of space to move, my LO moves alot some days then others i wait all day and nothing but then as soon as i get into bed at night to sleep he starts kicking away..

Ive heard tales that if they arent moving much put something cold on your stomach

My midwife told me if the baby moves less that 10 times in a day then just give the hospital a call and they will advise you on what to do.

Hope that helps

x

Hey,
My babs is not overally active. Its on and off all day. But I cant work out any patterns to his/her day. Seems all dif times that baby is active. It does wake up for a cup of tea though. I do have very quiet days and worry, but usualy a prod wakes baby a bit. If youre worries hun, check with midwife. But all the active days after the quiet days must prove that baby is ok? Hugs x

Ps I still think that baby is moving sometimes and we cant feel it unless its a strong movement! x

my boy moves quite alot but i noticed its not the kicks anymore, i dont think there is any room.
its like he is trying to move around but he cant. its a little bit like a rumbling tummy :)

Hi,

my babies seems to move alot more slower nowadays.... its not so much kicks - its more the actual body moving very slow - Im sure Ive felt an elbow and a foot!! But its a lot of movements..... stops me walking its sooo much

My mw did tell me though its a myth that babies movements slow down before labour - if I had any worries - to ring the ward asap!!! :)
xxxx

Same as everyone else - although bubs moves a lot each day it's certainly not consistent although she does tend to move most after I've eaten or drunk something cold. She certainly moves much more than 10 times a day so I'm not worried. In a way less movement is better because it means they are growing well. xx

You havent got long left and Baby is getting very big. He is probably just finding it a bit more cosy inside now.

Little man has his quiet days!! He hasn't got a routine yet, he kicks or rolls whenever!! Like evelina said, it's not really kicks anymore, more rolls and feet under ribs!! I do get worried though when he goes quiet so thank god for my doppler! Lol
