Mouth Ulcers

Hi Peeps,

Im 6 weeks, so its only early in my pregnancy but iv got a few mouth ulcers right on the tip of my tongue.
I just wondered if it is common in pregnancy to get them?

Iv'e not heard it as a symptom Kiez, I think you either get them or don't, but it could well be that you will be more vunerable to things like this , I get them when a bit run down or stressed.

Hope they get better soon , I would guess that you could still kiddy bonjela or calgel during pregnancy, if it's very bad -perhaps some of the others can confirm tho, or just check at the chemist just incase.

I had a bad ulcer on my lip which doctors thought was herpes which I have never suffered with but I had a blood test and turns out it wasnt. I think I was just a bit tired and my lips had been dry so cracked and caused a sore. I have heard that it is quite common in pregnancy to get mouth ulcers though so I wouldnt worry.

I'm just about 6 weeks now....big mouth ulcer today. Don't know if it's a usual symptom or maybe food i'm eating?
