Hi ladies,
Just a bit of a rant really, but I wondered if anyone elses mums are starting to irk them slightly. Don't get me wrong, I love my mum so so much, but sometimes she does my head in!
A few examples:
She let babs lick fresh cream off her finger, if I'm out with her I'm not allowed to push the pushchair, she'll go to give babs Anbesol and not even ask if he's already had any etc.
Now, with the pushchair thing, I did say I didn't mind her pushing it when babs was born so that's kind of my fault (although I'm sure I didn't mean everytime) but while she was walking at a snails pace today on her phone, I offered to take the pushchair and walk on until she was finished, and she actually snatched the handle of me!
The cream incident, I did tell her that you're not supposed to give babies dairy products that early so I don't think she'll do that again but she'll probably give him stuff when I'm not there. The thing that pissed me off the most though, was that she didn't even ask me.
Sometimes I think she gets a bit jealous of me.
God I feel sooo terrible writing this post but I just had to get it off my chest. As I said, I do really, really love my mum and we are really close, it's just sooo hard sometimes.
Anyone else experienced this?
