Moses basket - help!

Yeah the moses basket has handles hun, but for money saving the carrycot sounds like a great idea xx0

So glad I live in a flat!! 4 floors sounds complicated!!

Thanks for advice ladies, i also read its a good idea to buy couple of changing mats to have 1 downstairs. I guess its worth spending 10 quid on. Was actually thinking of 2nd hand moses basket as I have brand new mattress for it.

Although my smugness stops here as I live on the second floor with no lift so am going to have to lug the pram up and down the stairs all the time...

2 of them we cant use cause we ran out of money:)
So its the bedroom in the loft and the kitchen downstairs, and we have to start thinking about gates for the stairs at some point!

You have to get something easily collapsible and draggable then, I have 4 steps up to the front door and after looking at prams we did decide to go with a bugaboo although they are expensive, but feel so much lighter and you can easily take carrycot off and collapse the base to drag it up the steps

Oh dear, and waddling up and down them when you're heavily pregnant is going to be fun, bless you x

Absolutely, we went for the lightest one possible, I'm going to be like the incredible hulk with the carry cot in one hand and the base in the other!

Problem solved - our lovely friend came round with her sis and 20 month year-old and says we can have her moses basket aww! And loads of other stuff, too. Soooo lovely! Has made my day :)
Yippeee!!! xxx

Freebies! Yeah, that would cheer me up no end!

Awww I love the M&P one, Jen! That is adorable!!! xx

Even though they don't get used much they are really gorgeous! That M+P one is gorgeous x x

I've got a moses basket for our room for night times but I also have been given a crib from my ex's sister (strange I know but she's my next door neighbour and we're close!)
Because we have 3 springer spaniel puppy's I've decided to have the crib downstairs in the sitting room so if one of the dog's accidently catch the crib with there tails or anything then it's more sturdy than a moses basket stand and less likely to wobble.
That's the plan anyways.
I got my moses basket and stand from a local baby shop for £20, second hand (stand brand new) but well worth it for the length of time they're in there. You can pick up new matresses cheap enough xxxx
