I'm hoping someone can give me some advise on easing nausea. I feel extremely sick all day (never actually sick), it's causing me to have no appetite and I'm not managing to go to work.
Tried ginger but it's not working, any other cures people are using/have used?

I'm just eating little and often. Crisps, cucumber and cheese have been my saviours!

Are you managing meals? Do you find eating little and often keeps the nausea at bay?I'm even struggling to cook for my lg. Hoping it will pass in a few weeks.

My nausea is worse if I don't eat. I'm struggling with meals although managed beef stew tonight!
Digestive biscuits are good - keep by your bed and have one when you wake up. I've been having cereal as a quick fix.

I will give having a biscuit before I get up a go and then try to way little and often the ought the day. My husband is home at weekends so I may manage to eat meals if he prepares them!

I'm feeling the same and only time I don't feel sick is if I eat!
I've been like it all week but today I've started to gag.
I feel proper sorry for my self
Before bed I've been having a few ginger biscuits and a glass of milk, tides me over until I get to sleep.
I really feel for you. I've still been going to work but I drive for a living and the motion making me feel worse, the thought of going to work feels me with dread in the mornings

Eating little and often always helps me. Find something that you fancy or can stomach, and stick to it for as long as you need, I always think eating something is better than nothing. It was crisps, bread, potatoes (stodgy foods!) with my son. This time it seems to be anything sweet and sugary. Xx

I was sick for 9m. Nothing helped me.

Ive heard people get help from the travel sickness tabs or bands..

Xxx

Once I start to eat something I don't feel too bad, just need to fight with myself to start eating. I was the opposite with my lg so it's strange for me that I'm not eating everything in sight!
I only work 2 days a week and have already taken 2 days off with nausea, when I was pregnant with my lg I worked full time and didn't take a single day off. How different each pregnancy is!

If only someone had an answer other than "this is all your fault" directed at men lol.

I cam in yesterday morning from nightshift to find my better half crying her eyes out. To be fair shes been getting up, going to work and getting on with everything but she just can't fight this all day nausea and no sickness.

We got a packet of those sea bands, shes eating little and often and trying ginger, digesives etc but nothing other than a lie down for 15/20 mins seems to help.

I had awful nausea with my son, a combination of/alternative days some of the following helped:

Little and often, like digestives (something not too heavy)
Nibbling on ginger nut biscuits
Peppermint tea
Travel sickness bands on my wrist
Ice lollies (I might as well have had shares in Jublees!)

I haven't got to the full on morning sickness stage yet - I'm dreading it. Makes you feel like shite!! Hope something helps xxx

I quite liked peppermint tea, as much as I like ginger usually it weirds me out the crystalized stuff, thought it tasted chemically.

So peppermint tea and keeping myself full. Of you struggle with smells, a bowl of cereal is great I zoomed my way through a giant box of cheerios or bran flakes with fruit.

having said this, o think I've been really fortunate because I figured eating often keeps it away. However there's times when I've had to force a meal down while feeling sick and it works for me altho its hard!

I had the midwife this morning and as I'm carrying twins, not managing to go to work and looking after my 2 year old on my own 5 days a week she spoke to the doctor who has prescribed me prochlorperazine. Has anyone else taken this in pregnancy?

I'm struggling with sickness too at the moment. I'm not actually being sick just a real horrible nauseating feeling. I force myself to eat whatever I can. My appetite is completely off. I had started slimming world but I don't fancy anything healthy at all. Just burgers or pie!! I eat ginger biscuits when u am in bed and drink loads of water. I also suck mints and sniff lemon oil which is really helping. I find myself in the kitchen squeezing the lemon fairy liquid under my nose to ease the sickness. Rest and eating seems to help but it is horrible feeling nausea x

I've taken prochloprazine, metachlopromide and ondansetron in pregnancy before. I suffered with hyperemyesis in both my pregnancies and was off work from 6wk-15wks both times and on the tablets til 24 ish weeks.

I am absolutely dreading the sickness starting again :( worst thing ever! xx

I have a feeling I will be off work for a while. I've not found the prochlorperazine made much difference today so I'm hoping it will build up in my system. Were you on a mix of the 3 medications?

Where can I get the lemon oil from does anyone know?

No not a mix, just upgraded as such to the stronger ones. I only got the ondansetron after being admitted to hospital for rehydration. If they aren't doing anything after a week I would go back to the doc or midwife. I found i was still really nauseous on the them they just stopped the actual sickness. Travel bands an sucking polos got me through work once I went back xx

Ah ladies I feel your pain , I've been awful this pregnancy ... Had lots of time off work , cried my eyes out and thought I couldn't do it ... I'm 14 weeks and still nauseous, had a terrible night last night too

I was struggling so much I couldn't leave the house .. But alas even though I'm still nauseous now I'm managing my work and trips out on occasion! Hang in there everyone x

I'm feeling bloody horrible at the minute, haven't eaten yet today, only thing I can cope with is milkshakes. I'm do hungry but the thought of food is turning my stomach.
