I was due yesterday so I'm not massively overdue, yet. No signs of labour so far but I have been getting braxton hicks a LOT more regularly than normal. Probably every 10mins or so for the last 24 hours. The don't hurt at all but are just the usual tightenings, sometimes a lot harder than normal but just so much more frequent.

Anyone know if increased BH is a sign labour might be on the way?

Thanks xx

Sorry not experienced labour yet so can't comment but just wanted to say I hope this is an early sign of labour and things start progressing for you soon. Good luck xx

sorry i'm not sure either i didn't get bh with ds i did get a dodgy belly tho lol fingers crossed lo is on their way xx

it can b a sign that things r getting ready but maybe not imninent !!had had regular bh on and off for 2 weeks with my second but they did start at36 weeks having similar now. but hopefully things will move quicker for u !! xxx

I wouldn't say they r a sign of labour.. Sorry..
But hopefully they may be real ones just waiting to build up :)
Good luck hun xxx

I'm not sure either

But i've been getting them alot stronger/more often over the last 5 days or so, and they also last alot longer than normal.

Think its just our bodies preparing, rather than a sign of labour itself.

:)

i have to say that i noticed getting stronger BH and more regular BH 2 days before my labour, i had been having regular BH since 26wks so i could tell the difference!. hopefully it is a sign for you. x
