Milk drying up??

When your milk drys up do you release it hense leaking or does it dry up inside your body?? This is day 3 or 4 now and its not so painful anymore but I am leaking a fair bit just wondered if that is normal for drying up??

I think it's a bit of both! Mine seemed to leak a little-way not enough for what I'd expect for the only means of drying up x x hth (and makes sense)!!!

Mine leaked a lot , but I made the mistake of stimulating them and causing a leak . My mum told me that a hot shower and massaging them would ease the pain .. it did but it also encouraged milk production so I was very leaky for a week .

Think it's absorbed back into your body but they do leak a bit too
