This might sound really daft so please dont laugh at me!!

My last visit to the MW she said that the head was really low at the brim of my pelvis but not starting to engage yet. I asked her if there was anything I could do to help things along. She basically said stuff is heading in the right direction and should all happen by itself.

I was trying to show my DH where LO's head is and think I managed to work it out, what concerns me is that the head is sticking out further than my pubic bone, it doesnt seem possible that there is room in there for it to move down behind it! That might sound really odd but does anyone know it this is normal.

Worried my pelvis might be a bit on the small side!!

On the brim means almost moving into the pelvis - the is totally normal, and a good sign at 35 weeks. Your pelvic bones loosen and ligaments surrounding them stretch during pregnancy and birth so don't panic or feel silly for asking, but thats how babe is birthed.

Cheers ladies, was just a bit concerned as when I had my little boy his head never engaged fully and after a tricky labour i ended up with a em c sec. Ive been questioning everything and even though i know its daft i'm worrying maybe my pelvis is too small! I dont think it is... I have narrow hips but not overly narrow!! just guess i'm kinda waiting for things not to go smoothly!
xx
