Midwife rang my PARENTS!!

OMG am I five or nearly 27? I miseed her phone call this morning yes ONE call and tried to ring back 15 mins later and she spoke to my Mum telling her I'd missed two app's for GTT. Got another Thurs so gotta go but already lied to my Mum saying I'd been. I thought stuff was confidential? xxx

Surely that's not right? I know mw aren't like gps but you'd think the confidentiality would still be there!! I'd complain if I were you it's not right at all! What's wrong with 'can your daughter call me please' or maybe leave a voicemail to you??

Thanks. I might do. Told my Mum I wasnt happy and she said 'Dont be silly she sounded lovely' its not the point!! But anyway just thought it was a bit odd, my sister was nearly weeing herself laughing when I told her, she was as shocked as I was !! x

I think your mw might be concerned about you missing 2 appointments, and might be worried something happened to you? I mean I know it seems pretty weird she called ur mum to be honest, but she might just do it to make sure u are ok?

Ong that's well a breach of confidentiality! She should have just said she's having trouble contacting you and ate you ok/could she get you to ring!!!
