Men and spending

Seans fine with money although he didn't used to be - he moved in with me with 10 grands worth of debts, so far we've cleared 6 of that

I'm good with money too now, although 'm buying a new bmw soon :rotfl: :wall:

this weekend dean managed to buy some new trainers and some new footie boots! i text him to remind him to bring some money over for Sophie today :wall:

You need to sort these guys out! You should know exactly how much expenditure you have between and keep an eye on where on goes or show him whats left to spend and decide to split it - don't let them buy all the latest games and leave you with nothing!! :wall:

My hubby is great with money. When he wants to treat himself he'll always run it past me if its more than £20. He hardly ever goes overboard at all.

He loves his computer games but has gone without for a long time now. Things like that are on his wish list and he'll get them when and if we can afford them.

He doesn't drink, smoke or spend money out in the pub etc. His one vice in the summer is playing local cricket. £5 a game in match fees but he gets 8 hours out of that so I can't complain.

My EX ( :cheer: :cheer: :rotfl: ) was a total tight arse about money.

He'd buy the BOGOFFs of things we didn't even need/like. And it used to really peee me off when we went for a takeaway and we HAD to order the meal for two, which meant not getting the main course that I wanted, and ending up with soup, ribs and prawn crackers that I didn't want either!

Didn't think twice about spending a couple of hundred on a new set of irons, or a couple of hundred on ONE effing golf driver club thingy wotsit (can you tell I was interested!?!?)

Oh, and golf club fees and footie season ticket!

But one "That bottle of wine is really good and only costs 50p more than that nail varnish remover you've picked" from me and it was :talkhand:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

xxx

can i just say without making anyone jealous :moon: that Rich is the total opposite to that, he never buys himself anything , i have to MAKE him buy himself clothes.
its me that wants stuff all the time, hes just had to buy me a new kitchen, but the other one was 20 + yrs old (here before we moved in)

We are both terrible with money...we just spend spend spend until its gone!
-He has needed this last month a new Golf Driver £170, Gay vests (Ok, they are called Muscle vests but I think they look gay lol), New trackie bottoms £29, new trainers £55 and 3 pairs of shorts that cost £75 OMG!!! - Luckily he is on exercise for the next four weeks, which cuts down his spending...but doesn't stop it...He managed to spend a fortune in Iraq for gods sake!
-I don't even want to tell you what I have spent!

omg that game looks f**king awesome, im wetting myself over that one :rotfl: has he reserved a copy? or he going out at midnight to get?

Yeah he reserved it months ago and had a major panic when he thought he'd lost the receipt! First thing he said this morning was 'Grand Theft Auto is out today' well good morning to you too sweetheart!!

My BIL does the graphics for the GTA games. Totally off topic, I know, but it makes me proud that he's so clever :D

On topic...DH is sh1t with £ too. Doesn't pay bills til we get demands etc. We have a Tiscali bill for £100's......

My dh is pretty good with money when he wants to be but can also have his down moments with it. Like this month he needs a new car which is gonna cost about 4000 so he's said he won't buy anything else. Well that has gone out the window after he got mario kart wii, the new GTA yesterday and a wireless router so he can go online with it too. I feel bad for spending a bit too much on food shopping we need
