I've read quite a few books and still seem to find an answer to my question...

this is my first pregnancy... so i'm questioning every pain, emotion and symptom... I'm kind of text book standard at the moment! feeling tired, sick when i get hungry, a little emotional, off sex, head aches etc...

the one thing i'm not sure about is MC... i haven't had a scare or anything! but i was wondering would i know if i was having one? sounds stupid but can a person MC without blood? the books all state that blood is the main symptom but what if you MC your bean (in the early weeks) without any symptoms or loss of blood. I have a scan booked for week 13, which is just over 4 weeks away. Can the scan show a MC that happened weeks ago?

Hi Hayley

i dont know if this will help you.

my sil had a 10 week scan and they said that her baby had passed away at around 6 weeks. she had been bleeding a little bit. does that help you at all hun.

you need to stop worrying

Hi Hayley,

Try not to stress yourself out - it's not good for you and the baby. I think most of the time if there is something wrong your body flags it up in some way. It's a good sign that you are still having your text book symptoms too. Try not to dwell on what could go wrong too much and the 4wks will go alot quicker.

i wish i had typed what you had Tori. i hope that i havent made you feel down Hayley.

i totally agree with Tori, you need to stop stressing (hard to do i know). it is perfectly natural for pregnant women to worry throughout about anything little thing.

Hi Hayley,

I've pm'd you with some info the hospital told me about m/c.

thanks for your replies.

I'm not stressing or worrying myself sick at his stage but it is on my mind. The fact that i thought i'd found the heart beat then realised it was my pulse has made me a little on edge. But thanks for listening and replying.

Bagpuss i've pm you back - thanks
