I've just watched a documentary on national geographic about children raised by animals. It was so interesting, apparently the non-hoax stories seem to be disabled children left out for exposure or abused children who either run away or in one case left outside with the family dogs. They talked about how babies and small children basically will turn to their most likely source of food and comfort and aren't really that fussed who their main care giver is (charming!). And also how the development of communication, saying that whilst babies are pre-programmed to speak if human conversation isn't learnt at a specific time then they will adapt to other forms of animal communication if that's what they hear the most.

I know it's not like any of us are looking for nannies within the animal kingdom lol but it was interesting to see how young children adapt so much to their environment. Well as long as Albert doesn't start humping my slippers like the rabbit does I'll be a happy mummy :D

I saw a similar documentary! It was really interesting, but so sad!
