Hey everyone.

Just to let you all know my hcg only went up by 494, they did an internal scan and i’m told the sac is in the right place but they have advised that i’m most likely going to miscarry. I’m booked in for a scan in 11 days where they will check to see if there is anything in the sac or of it has gone. The doctor said they can make mistakes and although it’s unlikley the small increase could just be a false flag. (Doctors can make mistakes he said)
It’s just a case of waiting and seeing.

I’m sending lots of love to all you lovely ladies I hope i’m not out but I probably am. I will be back though as me and my fiancé really want a baby together. Xx

I'm so tempted to book a scan for next week, i have already booked one for when im 10 weeks because my 12 week scan last time showed baby had died at 9 weeks .
But i feel like i've screwed up this pregnancy already with pushing patients and last week i had a tattoo before i found out.
I know its unlikely that either of these thing would have harmed baby but i can't help worrying

Aurora, if you think the scan will put you at ease then I would go for it. Please don’t think about things that you did before you knew you were pregnant though. You didn’t know. Think of all the women who find out late on that they’re pregnant. I’m sorry for your previous loss too. Xx

I agree with ABC, Aurora. If it's going to give you peace of mind and you can afford it then it's worth having an extra scan.

I also wouldn't worry about anything you did before you found out you were pregnant. Our bodies are fantastic at keeping the baby safe at such an early stage, as the baby isn't even yet 'feeding' through us via the placenta. The risk of getting tattoos in pregnancy is about infections, particularly HIV/Hep, so as long as you went to a clean, safe and reputable studio and continue to keep the tattoo clear of any infection, you should be fine

It's possible I could end up with an April baby as my due date by LMP is the 1st, and I could be made to have it earlier due to previous placenta issues!
