***** May 2019 Mummies *****

How are you feeling ABC? I’m still feeling pretty rough I hate this first part so much!

Congratulations redhead, how are you feeling?

Nervous, Ive had a miscarriage before so obviously apprehensive as I'm sure a lot of you guys are.

But also over the moon, hopefully it all goes ok, I've been cramping quite a bit but I did with my boy.

Exciting times for us all :)

Hi, I’m still feeling quite rough. I’ve had to call in sick at work over the weekend. I think the cyclizine does take the edge off though. I am so happy to be pregnant, but I must admit that part of me wonders what I’ve let myself in for. How are you feeling? Did the rehydration help? And the new medication?

I’m sorry for you previous loss. It’s so difficult in these early stages when you have no idea what’s actually going on in your own body and have to just trust it will be ok. I think that why this group of ladies is so amazing. There’s always someone to listen or someone who has had a similar experience and can offer great advice.

I’ve had cramps on and off since I got my bfp, I’m assuming it’s just things moving and stretching to make space for baby.

Yeah I found a bunch of great friends on here when I had my boy who is now 2, and we are still in contact now so I'm looking forward to talking to you all over the coming months!

Yeah I'm just going to go with the flow and hope for the best it's still very early so just going to wait and see. I think like you said cramping on its own is very common and it's just things changing.

Do you have any others or is this your first? How about everyone else, how many kids do we all have?

Hey everyone. I got sent to the hospital today with suspected eptopic.
Thankfully the baby is in the right place and has a beautiful strong heartbeat.
She has measured me nearly a week behind I am but has said that's normal.
Also my ovulation is a bit later in my cycle. Usually around cd 19.so I expected to be put back a little.

I am still slightly worried it isn't measuring as it should but its still early days and a heartbeat was seen.
No pic as was emergency scan so was just to check everything was OK.

Glad it was good news linxminx and that’s lovely that you got to see the heartbeat ❤️ How many weeks did they measure at??
What symptoms were you having that made them query an ectopic??

Linxminx, glad baby is in the right place and a heartbeat is a very good sign. Fingers crossed for you that the measuring behind is just that they haven't had their growth spurt yet! Measurements in the first tri change so much; the seem behind, then catch up, then ahead. My measurements changed 3 times between 6weeks - 12 weeks with DS. I wouldn't worry too much if you saw a HB <3

Redhead, this is my second, my DS is now 1 :D I've had cramping since I found out at 3 weeks and it's still here now. It was worrying at first but I haven't had any spotting so far and have had a viable 6 week scan so trying to ignore it now! I only had cramping when AF was due with my son, so this is new for me!

I've updated my pregnancy journal on here with how my booking in appointment went today, but it's a tad lengthy for this thread. So I'm just going to post a link to the post for those who are curious :)

Hope everyone is feeling alright today. I'm starving after spending 3 hours in the hospital and not having lunch!

The pain in my groin, it just wouldn't go away. Hurt when they pressed in certain places too.
She said six weeks and a day or so... So I'm unsure exactly.
. Nothing exact lol. She was just completely business. Did her job... To make sure baby where it should be... And that was it. Lol.

You would think they would show a bit of emotion, I’m sure they know how much of an anxious time it can be!
Hope your pain settles now and you start feeling a bit better :) xx

Dis she not give you a sheet with the scan information on it? Like dates, measurements, what was seen? You don’t usually get photos with nhs scans under 12 weeks but you definitely should have been given some kind of paperwork!

Glad you ok Hun how scary for you glad the baby is where it should be with a heartbeat xxx

No paperwork... Absolutely nothing.
She showed me the screen and showed me what was what.
If I hadn't questioned the baby measuring 2 weeks behind then she wouldn't have re measured and got baby at just over 6 weeks instead of 5.
She couldn't be bothered of I'm honest.
I was a sobbing mess and I was on my own too.

She said she will sort notes and to tell the staff on a different ward I'm back and they will go down and collect paper work.
Dr came to see me told me pregnancy was normal but if pain increases to go back.
And that was that!
Sent on my merry way lol!

Shattered, I'm so bloody tired, I don't remember being this tired with my first, how are you?

I’m alright how are you? I had a scan the other day due to some spotting but all seems good. Was meant to be 6 weeks 3 days but was put back to 5weeks 6 days but there was a heartbeat which made me relax a bit. I’m now 6weeks 3 days today. Had a little bit more spotting but nothing major xx

Hey everyone, I’m tired and sick too. Hence the quietness at my end. I just have zero energy. Due back at work on Tuesday but not sure I can face it. The cyclizine isn’t doing much apart from making me tired, though that may be the baby too.

Linx and megi, glad your scans were looking ok. Linx, sorry they weren’t more compassionate towards you.

Hope everyone else is ok x

Feel for you. The sickness drugs will do that for the first few weeks while your body gets used to them. If cyclizine isn’t working ask for metrocloprimde it’s one up from cyclizine and really helped me in all of the pregnancies. It’s so shit working and feeling like this I’ve been off for a week just can’t face it at the mo so I totally understand xx
