Aw that is lovely news Lou :)

My arm when I had my flu jab is very swollen and tender! I accidentally knocked it and hadn't realised it was swollen until then when it hurt. Owchy! Hope it goes down soon.

I've been making wedding cake decorations today, I'm doing the cake as a favour for a friend at the weekend and it always makes me so nervous! What is worse with this one is I have no idea who it is for as my friend who asked me to do it is giving it to her friend (who I don't know) as a wedding present. I hope they like it!

Thanks guys, I've rebooked it for next Friday when I'm 14 weeks. I've just come home to a letter saying I have E-Coli in my urine and I need monthly MSSUs xx

That's scary hope your OK.

Fantastic news lou x

I'm sure it will be great snowbee bit as always pics are needed lol

Thats lovely lou, so nice to go through it all with someone.
Snowbee, the little cardigan is cute, I like the little hood xx

Just had a pregnancy brain moment where I asked hubby a no win question about my PMT to which he walked silently out the room came back and changed the topic to glasses about which I had completely forgot my question and due to masses of crossed wires and confusion and sheer forgetfulness during which time I asked him if he was attempting to make a social commentary on something we ended up laughing so much we were both on tears then I started choking then feethe sick and it resulting on me shouting I need something to suck get me a suck suck which didn't help his laughter and now my son has picked up the phrase "I need a suck suck" :wall:  ::wall2:

I'm just hoping he forgets it before school in the morning lol or else the looks of shame I'll get lol luckily my midwife won't be on the playground tomorrow it's her early day lol

Hi ladies, just wondering if Any of you still haven't found heartbeat on Doppler, I'm not panicking ( already been there done that with my daughters when I was pregnant lol) just frustrating as my bump is fairly high up etc so thought would be easier to find . Iv found a whooshing noise but not what I consider to be a heartbeat or galloping sound xx

It should be close to that x try going a bit lower and angling the probe down towards pelvis/feet, move it really really slowly and in a circle on an angle if that makes sense!

Hope this helps! X

I found it at 9 weeks but it was quite hard to start with and very very low down, like basically just above where your pubic hair ends! Sorry but that's the best marker I can give lol!! I only heard it for about four seconds initially and even the slightest movement on the Doppler and I lost it.

Congratulations nikki x x
I've been getting some worrying pains again but trying not to think too much about it coz I had these before my other scabs too so probably nerves or I've overdone it. I'm trying to pick out a fireplace I like it's sooo hard I'm going to have to live with it for years and years. I know what I dint like it I'm not sure what I like lol.

I hve lots of pains today and just been uncomfortable and had more bleeding! Not much but I wish it would just do one now!! The pains make me panic but they come and go so that makes me feel better! X another day done!! Another day closer to your scan :) tomorrow u can say it's my scan tomorrow :) I think I am counting down with u!!!

Feeling very bumpy today!! Really think I've popped already!! I've had a few people comment on bump too so it must be there and not just wishful thinking on my part!! Lol!!

When I try to suck it in, my tummy will go in above my bellybutton but under my bellybutton still sticks out!

I love having a bumpy!! Going to have to try and find outfits that show it off!!

Thanks everyone, full bladder or no? And do I only concentrate in middle above pubic bone or to the left and right of it also? Lovely bump Emily! I'm only 11 weeks but I am showing very early maybe because it's my 2nd baby/ 3rd pregnancy! Xx

Cute bump Emily. I can't wait to be showing properly and I know none of it is bloat.

Mayday, I found it a 9 weeks, and Emily said, it was very low down. I needed to apply a bit of pressure and push down to find it. From 10 weeks on it's been rather easy for me, but I'm also very small. When I don't find it right away, I feel for my uterus and then replace my fingers with the doppler and find it almost immediately from there, usually slightly to one side. The baby can hide and can sit further back. My uterus is tilted forward, which I think plays a role in me being able to find it easier.

Sorry for this TMI, but I managed to go twice today. I can't remember the last time that happened. I feel like I've dropped 10lbs. It's not complete relief, but it is most welcomed, especially after last week when I couldn't go for several a few days.

I've been pleasantly surprised this week. I'm wearing my baby on board badge and I have had a seat offered to me on my way home everyday this week. There were people who took a seat as we both headed for it, but there has always been someone nearby willing to give theirs up. I appreciate it so much as it's the longest part of my journey, 30 mins, that gets really crowded.
