Eeek! I'm not farty at all, yet! Feeling fat today, all my clothes feel tight. I've ordered some maternity jeans from Next so I'll see if they help...

The baby grows I ordered came but for some reason our postman took them to my FIL who lives down the road... Not amused as 1, they would have fit through my letter box and 2, they had baby writing all over the packaging! He hasn't commented, I shall randomly drop into conversation buying a gift for my cousins new baby at some point to keep him off the trail...

Great news on the scan Leigh and Lou!

Nikki, it's his loss. I never could understand how someone wouldn't care about a human being they created.

I need to do some shopping. I'm not sure maternity trousers are needed just yet, but I think I may need some leggings. I have 2 pairs of trousers and 1 pair of dark jeans that I can wear to work, but I have to use a rubber band. I'm just not sure maternity trousers will fit. I do have a little bump, still not sure how much is actual baby and how much is bloat. I'm definitely showing a little early than I expected with my first, but I did learn at my 10 wk scan that my uterus is tilted forward, so I'd probably show earlier than normal. Most people weren't expecting to me to show at all until 16+ wks because of how small I am. My bump may not look like much, but I had nothing but abs there 3 months ago (low body fat).

I'm debating ordering just a normal pair of jeans in a bigger size as I wonder if the maternity ones will fall down at this stage. I don't have any noticeable change other than it is really uncomfortable wearing my normal trousers... This is my back up plan should the maternity jeans I've ordered not be suitable just yet!

This stage is a pain clothing wise! I've ordered maternity wear but I'm worried it'll be too big but my regular clothes are all a bit snug!

That's my problem. I just can't see the maternity wear actually fitting. I can't really just go up a size either because it'll be too big everywhere else. I keep seeing people recommending leggings, so I'm gonna try those. I just need to find time to shop to see if I like them. I have a few long tops that will go well with them.

At home, I'm living in sweatpants at the moment. I'd wear them all day every day if I could. So comfy and warm.

As soon as I'm home they go on. Well, those or my jammies!

I was so looking forward to my tea tonight. Started eating it but just lost my appetite soon after starting it. Baby obviously didn't appreciate it as it all came back up again!

All good baby measuring 13 weeks 1 day so due 8th may! All looked fine with baby so relieved!! So happy! Even been showing my scan pics at work got lots! never thought I would feel excited or so happy again! Next scan 17 weeks with consultant for a detailed scan so really pleased about that then 20 weeks as normal then 24 weeks and every 4 weeks.. Was really nice to see the bereavement midwife and she said she is here anytime and if I am anxious and need an extra scan or to see her then just ask! Feel so reassured now X

Don't buy under the bump jeans etc they are awful! Mine fall down all the time!! New look are cheap and great for jeans and leggings etc.

Think I have to cancel my scan today, I have a daughter who can't stop being sick. She doesn't know I'm pregnant and the car ride will do her no good x

Over the bump have elastic round the top I often wore my maternity pants to work before I was pregnant if my work pants were too dirty.
(I work with lots of mess so sometimes go through pants too quickly lol) just buy your normal size. And they should be fine. Bit Simon Cowell esque but comfy lol

And snowbee I'm so gassy I think my backside could quite efficiency keep this street up and running with my natural gas reserves lol. so glad when hubby left for work so I could turn the bed into a hot air balloon lol.

My symptoms are certainly not as bad now. My boobs are still sore but I'm less tired and not feeling anything like as sick as I was although I do still vom from time to time!

I'm trying to eat a bit better too now that I'm not feeling so rough. My meals aren't generally too bad but my snacks are generally crisps or chocolate so I got some nicer snacks to have instead.

I am feeling much better too, no vomiting and only occasional nausea and def not as tired!

They really are the emotional rollercoaster is crazy! 2 days to go!
I wish I could say my sickness was getting better. so far I can say I've not been sick today..... but I don't think that will last. Every scan week has felt like a month. I feel I've been pregnant for about a year.
Graduation day on Friday. c'mon Lil arc reactor be strong x x x x

When are you going to have your private scan Nikki? We are also going to book one as our hospital won't tell you boy/girl at the 20 week scan. I was thinking about 17 weeks.

xjdx hope your little girl is ok and feeling better soon.

My boobs are much less sore too. I'm still so tired though, I'm fine in the mornings, a bit sleepy by lunch time and struggling with evenings. I'm supposed to be out tonight at a meeting but I'm undecided if I'll be awake enough at the moment!

We may get a private one too later on hubby said we deserve more scans due to all the ones we've missed out lol. It's so haRd on this seesaw of optimism followed by "don't jinx it don't get ahead of yourself" we really do want to find out the gender I'm undecided if we are going to tell our family and friends but probably will as my son would blab otherwise but we would let him announce the gender lol
