May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

Oh wow lisey. That's amazing!
It's got to the point I've forgot what it's like to be well. Sure my son thinks I'm dying lol. be so great to tell him. Though we started to sew the seed with the little kids at Halloween and hrs less than impressed lol. he liked the idea that he could boss a smaller child around when we asked if there were any good points to having a small person in the house lol

Lol, he sounds like a character :)
I am not getting excited as I am not convinced it was anything. I can't even remember what early movements feel like xx

Oh ery, hope theres no more sick. Rachel, what are H&M jeans like size wise? Are they true to size? It makes such a difference to have comfy clothes at this stage, its horrible when they're digging in.

Just listened in on baby and as the doppler got a bump of some sort (made a weird sound) I felt like I felt a little something inside. Last night I wasn't sure if I felt a little something too, just when laying down. Not using doppler. Could have been wind though  xx

I would say they are yes. They have a nice amount of stretch in the legs and bum too, which I need as I carry more weight on my lower half. I'm a 12 in bottoms in most shops and the 12 maternity size fit great.

I am the same ery, I don't really know what it feels like to feel well and normal these days. I feel better than I did but still not good. I find small tasks so tiring. It changed over bedding yesterday and I was cursing the fact that we have a kingsize bed, it was such a mission!! I can't wait to be able to go out shopping, go for dinner, go for a walk...such simple things xx

Thanks, that's good to know. I am usually a size 10 (I am not a size 10 now!!!) but I have found some maternity jeans vary from shop to shop and I sometimes need a 10 and sometimes 12. Its annoying to have to order both sizes each time xx

Like butterfly wings fluttering under the skin lol.

Oh he is. he's very strong minded he has his own opinion and he is right. It all steed from his teachers putting him in the "elite" group at school. the top 5 kids in the class have some lessons in the year above to stretch them his reading age is well above "the normal" (he once picked up the complete works of shakespear lol) and One teacher called the group one time the "geniuses" and it's gone to his head. he wants to be Tony stark. Lol but now geez you forget his age and he debates with you his opinion. (I still win coz I can say "go to the corner" )

I could have wrote that myself! I really want to go for a carvery meal but I'm not well enough yet but soon as I'm well I'm going! I will be better by Yule I will be better by then! Lol

Hahah, you have the Mum power :) He sounds fun. I love children with character and I even like them a little cheeky but not in a rude way of course, just when they have that little spark about them xx

You'ld love my son then he's cheeky to the extreme but not rude lol. He will successfully negotiate reasona for treats etc lol "but mum i know I didn't eat my potato waffle but I did have 2 bowls of cerial yeaterday....." lol but mum it's Halloween I can't seriously be expected to do homework on Halloween what if the paper turns into a ghost and flies off??

Darn just missed a bit on this morning about dogs and newborns I don't have a dog but my Mil is desperate for me to get one I'm scared I'll end up with a puppy for Xmas lol

oh i wish i had seen, i have a pug and shes very playful jumps around etc just dont know how she will be with a baby x

Lol, he sounds brilliant.
I have this morning on in the background. They were mostly talking about a couple in America with a massive dog. Don't know the breed but its banned here. They let it lick baby and think they are happy to leave dog alone with baby etc. I am not sure but think they are doing an advice segment for people who need guidance later on in show.
I really wouldn't recommend a puppy and newborn, a puppy is like having a baby. Very demanding and lots of training needed for house training etc. She shouldn't just go out and buy you a dog, it should be a personal choice so that you can decide what breed is right for you etc.
I have debated getting another dog after we lost our Bella, I feel like my other dog is really lonely but I won't do it yet, will wait until baby is a little older xx

Hopefully it will be on catchup it's about 1hr in from the start.

Oh I know. I don't want a dog I'm scared of lots of dogs I can't be bothered to walk one and I certainly don't want to pick up poo but I'm not someone to leave it either it's disgusting. She was like "we'll I'll come round everyday and walk it you will just get the fun bits I'll pick up the poo and everything" I was like still.. no.... she then tried to guilt trip by saying "but your son would love one your husband grew up with dogs you know. what about a small one?" what it is is she wants a dog but can't have one in her house! She's knows I'm expecting lol last time I was pregnant we got a cat from her....

Oh gosh. I hope she doesn't do that. It s huge commitment and I don't think its fair if she puts that on you when you don't want one. I LOVE dogs (I like them more than humans) and would happily have ten! Not practical though obviously lol.
The advice segment is on after the break on this morning xx

All good baby measuring 13 weeks 1 day :) so due 8th may! All looked fine with baby :) so relieved!! So happy! Even been showing my scan pics at work got lots! :) never thought I would feel excited or so happy again! Next scan 17 weeks with consultant for a detailed scan so really pleased about that :) then 20 weeks as normal then 24 weeks and every 4 weeks.. Was really nice to see the bereavement midwife and she said she is here anytime and if I am anxious and need an extra scan or to see her then just ask! Feel so reassured now X
