*****May 2016 Mummies*****

Someone put a picture or their bagel on Facebook this morning and it looked amazing, now you lot are talking about them! I need oneeee!! Xx

Ooops babyslog and kim apologies. Its never wise to put an idea into someones mind. It was nice, she couldnt finish hers so i scoffed the bit she left.

Ive opted for poached egg x3 LOL on toast x2  yum! Haha x

Sounds good. Mrs H4L has been told to get herself home from work. Think the sickness is now started after a couple of weeks of nausea.

Ooh a bagel yum :)
Have you all had risk assessments done at work? My manager has cancelled on me today- no word of rescheduling- I informed at 4 weeks. And had multiple problems in my last pregnancy (which they are aware of). So frustrating :( x

I haven't been given a risk assessment, my manager hasn't even tried to schedule an appointment with me, I told them at 4 weeks also. They keep giving me difficult calls which I'm sure will cause to MC sooner or later, I've refused to do them saying they are putting me under too much strain...tough basically!

I'm worried I might get sick see thus time. I've got a horrid seasick feeling, just uneasy and queasy

Oh hun it's awful isn't it? I was never this sick first time round. Doc has prescribed some anti sickness pills and they help with the sickness but not the nausea. My friend had HG in 2 pregnancies so I shouldn't complain really! Hope it settles for you soon x

One if my best friends had HG (she needed to be out in a drip daily at one point!) from week 5 to week 35 (hint: she had her baby at 35 weeks) so I'm thankful.

The onyx thing that makes my sea sickness feeling subside is a nice hot cup of.p... Custard lol seriously, I'm drinking custard like I used to drink tea lol I even dipped a buscuit in it earlier... Healthy! Lol

I was sick one time with my son and that was because of dental anaesthetic. This time I'm not sick... I have a gagging very few days that comes and goes and I get a woozy seasick feeling, I'm hoping it doesn't actually turn into sickness.

I've had HG in both my previous pregnancies, thankfully it eases off by 24wks! I only had to have a drip at hospital once, that must have been awful for your friend Jojo. I'm only 4wks today so sickness hasn't started and I'm making the most of the next week or so lol Think I must be crazy doing this for a 3rd time! xx

Can't believe how awkward some managers can be. I've not told my boss yet, I'm terrified. My direct senior has just announced, I've told her, she thinks it's hilarious - we only work in a small office, the same girl was off the same time as me last time!!! My boss is going to go nuts....!!!!

If your boss goes nuts make sure they regret their outburst immediately with that look only a pregnant woman can give.

Ahh if only it would work! He'll be very careful with what he says, but as soon as he realises what it means... Agh!! His wife (also a partner in the firm) is also quite rude - her response to my colleague was not congratulations but "oh no, the dreaded maternity leave again"...

They sound like a lovely pair. Where do i sign up to work with them. Do they have kids?

I can't believe how awful some of your managers are!
I told mine yesterday, was so nervous, telling people suddenly makes it all seem so real! I was going to wait, but I had a bad day yesterday after not feeling any symptoms for a few days, I immediately thought the worst. Feeling a bit better about it all today thank goodness. I figured I'd have to tell my managers either way, so I may aswell get it out the way now and let them know why I've been so stressful and snappy recently. I've said I don't want it to be 'official' yet, I want to see how the scan goes before we do any risk assessments etc.
xx

Booking in at hospital appointment through for next Wednesday and then scan on 27th October.

So I decided to take a nap when I putmy son yo bed... 2hours later here I am lol
