*****May 2016 Mummies*****

Makes it so much more real to see it on the digi doesn't it!
I was so surprised to get a 2-3 straight away this time, it's taken me ages to get to that before. Xx

I got 3+ this morning!! Had a wobble yesterday, I thought my symptoms had disappeared, so seeing that today has made me very happy

I got a "not pregnant" on Sunday so this is super awesome! Hubby won't let me buy anymore to get the progression in numbers, hahaha! X

Well that's just mean! My OH is funny, he's told me he'll buy as many tests as I want him to if it'll make me feel better - I don't think he realises how much that could cost him!! I'm good now, I can wait until I see midwife and get my scan date :-)

How exciting :-) I've got a spare sat in the cupboard....might have to try it next week.
I need to get on the phone and book in at the docs to get the ball rolling with the midwife, took ages to get an apt through last time. But at the same time, I don't want to go too early, feel like I might jinx it :-/ xx

I feel exactly the same jenni16. Mum was telling me about stretch mark cream (apparently the earlier you start, the better) but I said I can't buy anything pregnancy related until I've had the first scan. I'm so scared it's not real!

Hi guys I'm new to all this my first child is 11 this year and I've just found out I'm expecting number 2 😳 to say we're in shock is an understatement I'm 42 and was waiting for the menopause to start lol totally excited but trying to stay calm as I've had 3 previous mc last one being 7years ago, I'm due on the 13th May so am around 5 weeks.

I used creams all the way through when I was pregnant with my son, I didn't get a single stretch mark until around 36 weeks, then I got loads ;-( they've faded pretty well a year later though so not all bad.

I'm due 13th too Bensmum (or 14th depending which site I use lol). Xx

Welcome and congratulations!

Ours is also quite a shock. We have 17 year old twins and an eight year old. Now that the news has sunk in we are totally delighted 😊

Welcome to all the new May mums! It looks like there could be a nice big group of us to go through these pregnancies together - I've met some absolutely amazing people through my journey last time and hope to find a few more this time!! Xxx

I've found this forum to be an amazing place since finding out I was pregnant with my son, the support has been wonderful. It's so nice to be able to talk to people going through the same journey as you, without even having to leave the house
I'm so excited to hopefully share the next few months with you all too :-)

Soppy post, sorry! Hormones must be getting to me already :-P xxx

It is good to be able to speak to a group of people at the same stage as you and help each other through :) still doesn't feel real though !! Xx

I'm not even 4 weeks yet and I feel like I've got LOADS going on. I was in bed by 8.30 last night, I felt like I had pins poking my nipples from the inside! I'm waking up FAMISHED. I've even been getting very mild nausea all day.

It's all good signs, but I'm dreading 6ish weeks when the symptoms ramp up a bit?! X

6 weeks today yaaaay!!!!

I have a banging headache and cant stop gagging. Joys  lol!
Hate nausea! I honestly sould rather be sick, atleast then this feeling may ease for a bit!

Feeling same babyslog, just feeling sick 24/7 at the moment and just want to be sick hoping It may help. I've been munching on ginger biscuits, makes me feel a bit better for a short time.
Feeling really dizzy today.... Wish I didn't work!

Thankfully im part time now since returning after my lb.
so i have wed & thurs off n half day fridays.

Im currently in bed with a flannel on my head, headache is horrible but cant sleep!! Xx

I really wish I was in bed
I'm a delivery driver and the motion from driving doing nothing to help my feeling sick.

Oh noo I'm so scared to hit 6 weeks, I had terrible nausea last time and I'm dreading it! Xx

2 milestones in my house today. My lb started school for the first time today (his school had a very staggered start). Bless him he looked so cute in his uniform. I've also just booked my first appointment with the midwife - Fri 9th Oct, I'll be 9+1 so not too bad. Got something concrete to look forward to now, and it doesn't seem too far off either.

I've also found that as long as I eat something as soon as I start feeling a bit nauseous I'm fine. Won't do much for my waistline, but I guess that's pretty much b**gered over the next 9 months anyway!
