Hi, I got my BFP on saturday, 5weeks edd is 27th May, and first midwife apt at drs booked for 7+6, excited and nervous... I have no symptoms really apart from cramping in my lower abdomen, which is only mild, boobs not sore at all, and just feel full in belly. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean x

Ahh jojo we've currently got the same due date and booking in date you've probably already said but is it normal to be able to ring epu and get a scan or is there are reason for it? I'd love to jot pay for one. Think I'm going to wait til after booking appt as I'll be 8 wetks, then if babybond have any that weekend I can get one then

Hi oh fab I have a due fate buddy and fancy our apps been same day eh lol reason I'm getting scanned early is cos I've had 3 previous losses 1 4+4 other 2 at 10 weeks but baby stopped at 5.5 and 7-8 weeks is I just have to ring up to sort it out , congrats jensig same due date as means Vic xx

Booking in appointment this Friday, they're gonna love me, my mw left the green book for me to have a look through and fill out the first few pages. (Helps to reduce appointment times) wait till she see my
family medical history and my 3 previous loses and premature son..... Another consultant led pregnancy I feel??? Lol

Mine to sproglet I have 6 children and 3 losses and retained placenta last time so she's got a lot of writing to do with me lmao I can't remember whether I'm meant to fill out the first few pages with name address and what not :-/ , I've got my scan date it's 16th October 10 am wish I could hurry time up I just wanna get past that tough time and stroll into tri2 happy xx

Totally know what you mean! Good luck with your scan, I know the time will drag waiting for it, first tri ALWAYS does, especially when you've had losses x

I've had a read through back posts to catch up with you all. What are you ladies talking about with the darker lines when poas? And what's this 3+? I've only done two tests ever and they were last week. Sorry - very new and clueless!

Sometimes when you do a pregnancy test early on, the test line is lighter than the control line, but as days go by and you do more tests (if you're obsessed with it like lots of us seem to be!) then the test line will come up darker. Think there are some comparison pics in my pregnancy journal. The 3+ refers to the clearblue digital tests with the conception indicator, they read pregnant and either 1-2, 2-3 or 3+ which indicates how many weeks since you conceived. You generally need to add 2 weeks to that number to get how many weeks pregnant you are officially - the docs count from the first day of your last period whereas the clearblue test shows how long since you actually ovulated/conceived. I've had a 1-2 (at 4 weeks pregnant) and a 2-3 (at 4 weeks 4 days) so will probably do another digi later this week to check its gone up to the 3+! X

I'm due on the 20th May which happens to be my younger brothers birthday. Am so nervous about being pregnant and never expected to feel so scared. We have been trying for two and a half years and I want everything to go well, obviously, as I'm sure all you other ladies do too.

Quite excited today as I've just found out close friends of ours are expecting their 2nd baby in April. I'm dying to tell them that we're expecting too!
