Mattress

So I have to buy my mattress for my cot in a couple of weeks and was looking for some advice on whats the best mattress and why? Theres quite a few choices varying from spring mattress to foam mattress natural fibre i dont have a clue so whats everyone else opinions on mattresses?

after looking at reviews i went for the sprung mattress i think its worth the bit extra

I think both my two have sprung mattresses! Purely because they have cotbeds, well, katie does and I bought the wrong size which just happened to fit ellas cot! I want them to last a bit longer cos theyl be getting a good few years of use!

I think the advice is to buy the most expensive you can afford. Ours is sprung but only because OH's mum and dad bought it and there was an upgrade option from the foam so they did. They should all be safe!
