Hi girls, my boss is really quick of the mark and wants to get my leave date and return date sorted! Tee hee little does she know I'm no way going back to that horrible job! Have said I will be taking the full year leave.

We have agreed the start date , 1st dec , but my HR dept have asked for the matB1 before they set the return date for her.

Is it still the midwife that gives you this, and when do you get it, so I can set my boss's expectations set a little more realistically as she is chomping at the bit!

Thanks girls

25 weeks we get it! So she can hush up for a little while as she can't pester you for things like that. I'm not going back to my job either!! Just tell her 25 weeks so she has a bit of a wait. X

Thanks muchly Lexi

Ha and once I give that to HR, they will write to me upto 28 days later with the return date! tee hee

she is a Manager based out of france, and she has no clue, she is just trying to plan redundancys I expect as it's all a bit dodgy at work at mo, plllssssssssssss make me redundant while I'm off (that's the ultimate plan)

You can get the matb1 form from 21 weeks hun! I didn't have a m/w app till 25 weeks but wanted my form for the same reasons so phoned the hospital when I was 21 weeks and they said I could come get it x x

Thats so naughty of your boss to be asking you questions like that! And HR should know that we get our MatB1 forms at 25 weeks!

I got mine at my 20 week scan as I don't go very much to the hospital/midwife so I get everything I can done on each visit.

You can get it any time after your 20 week scan! I gotbmine well late is I had my 24 week appts at the hospital and completely forgot to ask them!

yes my midwife said 20 weeks but im not seeing her till 25 weeks so probably just wait but my husbands work wants to get his paternity sorted my boss is laid back about it xx

My midwife also said 20 weeks but i don't have an appointment with her until 28 weeks so I may have to ring her, lol!

xx

Thanks lots girls for the info , yes my boss is naughty chasing me , I'm only 17 weeks fat!

Do you know when I had to take a sudden day off holiday for my CVS testing , my boss said take care and take is easy, then said oh and you need to let me know your leaving date ASAP! I couldn't believe how pushy she was when I just told her there was a small risk of miscarridge, and I was worried about the outcome of test anyway! She has not asked if i got the results at all since , so I didn't bother telling her we got the all clear last week!

you dont have to tell them til your at least 25 weeks pregnant if its that much of a horrible job I wouldnt be tellin them til the very last day I had to thats shocking they are asking already xx

I contacted my gp yesterday and she said she can't issue the Matb1 form till 26 weeks! I also thought it was 20 weeks?

I called mine last week and was able to collect it that afternoon from the surgery (it's anytime after your 20week scan were I am)

Yeah i thought that. Contacted clinic and they said to pop down tomorrow and get it. Useless gp's.

i work for the mod and have to send a letter of intention then mat b1 which is fine as i will hopefully find out soon if im entitled to any occupational enhancement will have to wait and see !!!xx

My MW is giving mine next week at my 25wk appointment.
I did call and ask her for it about 3 weeks ago and she said 'tell ur boss they can wait! they dont need it this early' lol! xx
