MatB1 forms - when do you get them?

Hi girls, my boss is really quick of the mark and wants to get my leave date and return date sorted! Tee hee little does she know I'm no way going back to that horrible job! Have said I will be taking the full year leave.

We have agreed the start date , 1st dec , but my HR dept have asked for the matB1 before they set the return date for her.

Is it still the midwife that gives you this, and when do you get it, so I can set my boss's expectations set a little more realistically as she is chomping at the bit!

I dnt want to either!? but ive been told i will owe them money if i dont work 6 months after i return before handing in my notice..???
Is that right?? I would love to leave and find a new job whilst on maternity.. Dont know how the system works tho.

Anyone else that knows?? xxx

Depends on your companies maternity policy. Best to check with your HR department as i know this is the case for a friend as she gets company maternity pay not just SMP x

ahh thanks hun. this is probs y i have to go back. i get almost 5months full pay before smp!! so thats where the 6 months notice comes in!

Oh I didn't check date sorry I googled when do I get mat b1 form n link to preg forum came up I fort aha and didn't thinj to check date doh sorry ladies still useful to know!!!
