Mason?!

Hmm I'm undecided on it tbh, it makes me think of the men doing funny handshakes. If you like it, you should go for it x

lol im surprised no1 has mentioned this to me sooner! this was the first thing i thought of when some1 i know called their baby Mason. But luckily alot of people i know dont know what the freemasons are! x

had to comment on this! mason was one of our first choices for LO, but we have friends and friends of friends if you get me with Masons, about 4 of them in the last year! i love the name but i think its gotten way too common now!!! it was also my nannas maiden name but nowadays it doesnt matter as many names can be used for both!!!

a few ppl have said about it being popular but its funny ive never come across one here atall! where im from in England though i know a few. Hopefully theres not alot of them here. x

I had my son on1.1.11 and mason was the only name me and my oh discussed and that is what we went with. We wanted something not too common or well heard of and we absolutely love it n glad we called him it. Strong, manly and very cheeky!!!xx

i love mason but wasn't an option for us cos surname is pitcher. xxx

i like the name but i do know quite a few...just if ur thinking of goin 4 something different

I love the name Mason, there is just one at my school, a friend of ours, so unsual
He has a brother called Tyler and another called Ryder - all unusual names

My baby is called Devon, and my mum and lots of close freinds have said they don't like his name and one thought he would get picked on at school! My mum lives in cornwall , so was horified when I warned her he would be called Devon!!

So I would say go for it, it's not a far out name at all and kids would not want to have to also use there last name initial as well as there name because there are too many of their name in their class!
