*****March 2016 Mummies*****

Yeah surely they can't deny you a 12 week scan because an 8 week scan is very inaccurate for dating and if you want the Down's screening that can only be done at the 12 week scan.

You'll definitely get a 12 week - I've got another scan tomorrow because they scanned last week and I was only 11 weeks (which I knew) and they said that's too early for measurements z

Hey ladies! Hope everyone is doing okay?

Have posted a seperate thread but just wanted to update that scan went brilliant today and had one wriggly little baby! Moved forward 2 days so due March 14th.

Samantha - congratulations!! Glad everything went well :)

My scan is on Monday eeeek.... And on a separate note I can't stop eating loads everyday all day haha not good! Xx

Mine is Monday too Jaiandleigh. So excited but nervous too! Most looking forward to being able to share our news with our family and friends!xx

Back from my scan and due date confirmed as 18th March. Everything looked fine and baby had a little wriggle around when the scanner agitated it! I'm now not so sure of my very definite feeling it's a girl - this time I wasn't so sure of my skull and nub theories! So now I'm going to be desperate for my private gender scan in a few weeks!

I hope Birdo is ok, just seen her other thread and now I'm really worrying about her :( x

Congrats Rose :)
It's nice to see some positive news with all the bad news lately

PP xXx

Hey all haven't been on for while after some bleeding but had 12 week scan last week and put forward to 10th March, all healthy and energetic! 13 weeks today! Due the same day I was and the day before my birthday so actually hoping to go overdue.

Glad to see other good news with scans and good luck to all the girls still to have theirs xx

Good news Rose! Still the same edd as me :)

Bubbles - hi, also great news! The scary Tri1 is now over for you :)

We had our private scan yesterday + bloods taken for chromosome abnormalities. Scan went well, she thinks I'm a few days ahead but of course I'll go by official NHS dates. Bloods results take 2 weeks to come back as they are shipped to the States for analysis. Really hope for good clear risk results with negligible downs risk etc.

Hope everyone is feeling better now with sickness and tiredness etc? I'm still suffering in the evenings.

Thinking of Birdo and hoping its Ok

Great news Rose!! A day in front of me :)

I'm feeling ok , still really really sick though

So glad everyone's progressing well

Xx

Nice to have some happy news from people's scans. So exciting. :-)
I went for lunch with a couple of friends today from one of our mummy groups, we always talk about our plans for more babies, compare prams, next stage car seats etc...well today I got the the direct 'are you trying for more?' I froze, went red and they guessed lol! So the news is out to 2 friends before family eek. I probably should have prepared an answer for 'are you pregnant?' but I couldn't deny baba was there once they ask in case date intervened at something went wrong.

Roll on Monday scan day so I can share the news! Xx

So glad everything is ok for your Birdo - hope you've got your feet up!
All our friends seem very happy for us now they know - a few are surprised but I think most just knew it wouldn't be long before we had another one x

Ooh Pin badge if I saw my friends today they'd know immediately the state of me... I'm looking about 5 months already. Tummy muscles a bit weak since the last time to hold it all in despite 3 years of Pilates in between. I'm avoiding meeting friends until we tell both sides of the family but DH's side don't have internet at the moment due to house move so we can't catch them on Skype :wall2: we've been waiting for a phone line in their new place for 2 weeks. Awful timing as we can hardly wait any longer to tell them!

I'm gonna have to tell people myself now as just like many of you I would hate to be caught off guard with an "are you pregnant" question at just the wrong time!

Exciting - I'm pretty sure I felt some fluttering movements this morning. I was lying down in bed and became aware of it, it lasted for a few minutes and felt like the first feelings I had with my little girl - although it was 16 weeks when I felt her x

Another scan today and baby was wriggling too much (last time it was facing the wrong way and wouldn't move) so another scan again in two weeks!

I must say the Torbay Hospital have been so spectacular! We have a storyboard of scans from 6, 8, 10, 12 and now 14 weeks and will have another at 15 and a half weeks. They have been so patient and understanding and it makes me feel sooooooo bloody lucky to have an NHS x

Would love to have so many scans - it's another 7 weeks before I get to see baby again :-(

Tri 2 tomorrow WOOHOO!!!!

Can't believe how quickly Tri 1 has gone, so much quicker than last time but then LO keeps me so busy I don't have the time to stress all the time. Some days, I forget that I'm pregnant at all!

Bump is starting to get really noticeable now- I look like Im about 20 weeks pregnant. I can see people looking at me and wondering if I've just put on a ton of weight or if I'm up the duff.

Wow Tri Two .... Save a space for me ....

True squeamers , I'm thankful for the nhs too ,! X

At 15 and a half weeks, is that late enough to tell gender?? You might get an early surprise? ;)
