Manual Breast Pump

Hi girls,

Has anyone got any good recommendations for a manual breast pump? I used an electric one last time around and didnt get on too well with it tbh. I wanted to try a manual one this time as I think it would be a better suit for me but I dont know which one to get.

We have got tommee tippee bottles as I am almost certain I will end up combination feeding so do I have to get a TT pump also or doesnt it matter?

Whichever pump you get will only work with its corresponding bottles but you can always transfer the milk into a different bottle.

Also the Avent electric pump you can use as manual so you could have either option x

I've got the avent manual one and I love it, the tommee tippee one nearly pulled my nipple off (in fact my nipple got stuck in the hole once... Painful) and broke after a couple uses xx

I loved the Avent manual pump. I used to pump straight into little storage bottles or pouches. Then would just run them under the hot tap and transfer to a proper feeding bottle for giving to LO

I started with a medela swing electric pump, which was good but broke. So luckily a friend gave me the Avent pump and I got the same amount of milk out. And pressing the lever isnt too much of a strain!

seems a bit fiddly to put together the first time, but you soon get the hang of it. x
