Mama and Papas Aton Car Seat

Hi Ladies,

Wondering if anyone has got this?? I wasent planning on using the isofix base in my car cos I believe you can just belt it it?? Does anyone know any different or advice which you think is best or safest??

We've got this car seat. Obviously not actually used it yet, but it does get good reviews on the Which website. You can use it with a base, but you don't have to, it can be fitted very easily with a seatbelt. We picked ours up last week and haven't bought the base. When choosing the shop assistant explained that it was really simple to fit just with the belt and that if it were her buying she would not bother with the base to start with and see how she got on, as you can always buy the base separately if needed. So that's what we've done. When we picked up the car seat we got the shop assistant to show us how to fit it properly with the seat belt and it does seem really easy. There are also how to videos on the Mamas and Papas website that show you how to do it too.

I've got this carseat and we did get the base too. Purely because of the ease of just clicking it in and out of the car without having to re-belt it every time. As Toni says though it can be used without the base and it does look pretty easy in the videos.

Aww thanks girlies I go on the website quite a bit and didnt even think to look at the vidoes!! Silly me. I dont think I want the base either to be honest so will probably see how we get on with belts initally XX
