This is so cute and really easy to make from salt dough.

I'm going to be doing one for the tree and then gets the kids to do individual ones.

If any of you want to know how to make it, let me know and I will post a tutorial. :)

I would love to know how it's done please Hun x

No problem.

To make the salt dough, you need 2 cups of plain flour and 1 cup of salt. Then add cold water to mix to a dough. You want it like play dough, so not sticky.

Take a piece of the dough and roll into a ball. Then flatten one side on your work surface, or you can cut the ball in half. Then make a hole at the top of the decoration so you can thread some ribbon for tree hanging. Then get your children to add their finger prints to the decoration by pressing lightly into the dough.

Once you've done this, you can either leave the decoration to air dry, which will take about a week in an airing cupboard, or you can bake in the oven at 80 degrees for about 12 hrs.

Once it's dried, you can then paint it in metallic paint and that's it!
