pack plenty of snacks in your hospital bag.
Just thought I'd mention it because when I was in labour I arrived at hospital 9am, they gave me a cheese sandwhich at about 12 and then 2 slices of toast after I'd given birth at 5pm, then that was it until 8 the next morning. Luckily my mum had bought some packet sandwichs and chocolate and flapjacks which I took onto the ward with me and ate in the night, otherwise I'd of been starving. Especially as I didn't get chance to eat my breakfast because Jaida was attatched to my breast constantly for about 2 hours after they brought it, then midwifes and doctor came round etc.
