How much do you eat in a day?

i read a post about this in third tri and thought i'd start one here as i'm interested to know if you ladies eat as much as me :oops:

they certainly don't in third tri :oops: :rotfl:

ok, so today i've had -

breakfast/lunch - toast and gammon with tea.

dinner - chicken in breadcrumbs with pasta and water.

supper - toast and gammon with tea.

snacks :oops: - 2 creme eggs, 2 galaxy eggs, packet of wotsits :oops:

i'm an absolute pig :rotfl:
 
Hmmm lets see

Breakfast was

Raspberry conserve on white toast
Cup of decaf Earl Grey tea

Lunch

Chicken and veg slice (on the run as was out, would normally be soup of some kind)

Dinner

Macaroni cheese with fresh veggies and bacon

Extras

3 cups decaf EG tea

Drank one glasss OJ and about 4 glasses water

Makes me sound saintlike when actually I am nothing like that :lol: Just happened today was a good day food wise :roll:

Ive been writing everything down since then and today Ive had...


toast & a bowl cereal for breakfast
tuna, pasta, sweetcorn for lunch
toast for dinner

snacks - 6 rich tea biscuits, packet of hula hoops and about 5 chips

all in all a good day :angel:

P.S toast and gammon sounds so yummy!!!!!!!!!

I tried to have 2 pieces of toast couldnt stomach it
So i had 2 lovely fruit bars
Cup of tea
Some grapes
An orange
Pomegranete and blueberry juice
A lemon yoghurt.
3 milky ways from my box of celebrations
A big mac meal :oops: with full fat coca cola :oops:
Salmon fish cakes with salad leaves, sugar snaps, cheery tomatoes a little bit of mayo. More pomegranete juice.
I really let myself down with the maccy d that a whole daily intake of sat fat and salt bad bad bad

2x Hot cross buns
Hot chocolate

Lunch...

Cheese and Onion sandwich
Bacon wheat crunchie crisps
Peacan and almond danish
strawberry milkshake
(I was at work today, hence the junk lunch!)

Late afternoon snack..

2x hot cross buns
Schloer (left over from xmas)

Tea: Cheese and crackers
Schloer (left over from xmas)

I've been finding recently I haven't had much of an appetite at tea time and have to force myself to eat rather than wanting to.

chili con carne (ready meal lol)

Can of coke

Snacks

yesterday i ate

breakfast - 4 pancakes with lemon and sugar on
lunch- super noddles (chicken)
dinner - 2 southern friend chicken portions about 8 potato croquets and half a tin of sketti
snacks- skips,double choc bar, taxi choc bar, handfull of mini chedders, sure i had some more aswell

so far today ive had 4 pancakes and a fruit bag

:shock: Some of you can eat! :rotfl: I'd be a right lard arse if I ate that much.

Breakfast - fruit and Fiber and an apple + bottle of water

Lunch - Baked potato or Soup or a sandwich

Dinner - meat and veg

Snacks = Fruit, fruit and more fruit also one chocolate from the quality streets.
 
I'm the same, if I ate waht some of you ate I've be 20 stone instead of bloody 15.

Yesterday I had,

Breakfast Hot X Bun
Banana

Lunch Lentil and bacon soup
Slice of soda bread
2 clementines

Dinner 1/2 a horseshoe of gammon grilled
fried egg (free range and vaccinated against salmonella)
tinned cherry tomatoes
mushrooms
handful of grapes and a kiwi

Not too bad except for the fried egg!!
 
Here goes!!

2 wheetabix with semi-skimmed milk for breakfast
Lunch was noodles with some veg in blackbean sauce
pasta in a cheese and leek sauce with a salad for tea

Its the snack part that really lets me down though!!

3 packs of walkers squares and 1 pack of quavers
5 chocolate digestives
3 clementines
1 bag of maltesers
That was all in the evening :oops:
 
:( god my diets soooo bad! especially when im at work on weekends i get hungry during the day and the only thing available is vending machine or mcdonalds :s agh well i havnt put any weight on yet but i no it cantbe good for me or baby eating so much rubbish

toast with peanut butter coffee (decaf)
creme egg
big packet of crisps
tomato soup with slice of white bread more coffee
chicken potato spinich and carrots more coffee
more crisps
2 huge glasses of coke (not my choice but he insisted i had a drink when sat in pub)
maltesers
popcorn

weekdays arnt as bad thers just never any food in the house so i never make proper meals

yesterday was ok i had
bio yoghurt
loads of coffee generally throughout the day
baked potato with ham and cheese
caramel egg
tomato pasta with prawns cashew nuts and loads of cheese on top
a rice crispy cake
go ahead yoghurt bar

and today has been awful so far and its only 2pm
bio yoghurt even more coffee
rice crispy cake
handful of cashew nuts
more coffee
nachos and salsa dip
glass of milk

seeing it written down makes me think i should prob be thinking about food more now its not jsut me

I don't eat much tbh

So far today I have had

Fruit for bfast
apple at break
soup, crisps and a yoghurt for lunch

thats it

and I won't eat much tonight either

Can you not make a packed lunch to take with you to work? A simple pasta or rice salad or a decent hearty sandwich? That way avoiding shitty MacD's or vending machine crap. Snacking on fruit or raw veggies is also good for vitamin intake etc. I'd nibble on those over Go Ahead bars etc, esp when at work.

I'd be inclined to go do a shop and stock up on things you can cook and freeze. Makes life much easier in the week then.

I found this eating well for me and baby ok, but I did cut out all caffeine and have had to give up my steak blue and things like liver which I adore, but otherwise I make sure I eat well and get all my nutrients from my diet. I haven't eaten fast food (or drunk fizzy drinks) in years (I think it would be about 5 years since my last Bic Mac or other such junk food) until the weekend when we went to Ikea and had lunch at Burger King. I had a Whopper and felt sick eating it and felt like crap for the rest of the day. I was longing for a ciabatta with chicken and ham or some such instead. The fries were disgusting and I could really taste the fat when I ate them. I didn't have a fizzy drink but asked for bottled water instead.
As we left I made my hubby swear we would never do that again :roll: :puke: :roll:
 
i dont tend to eat the mcdonalds tbh i've never been too keen and last time my OH had one i nearly pucked at the smell! I've also never really liked fizzy drinks but i've got a real thing for coke atm. I go home for my lunch in work it's just thay i get very hungry around 11 and feel sick and faint if i dont eat, i did have some special K bars but they're so small and i left them at my friends and he ate them all (typical bloke) i've always had a problem with food and eating proper meals, not really sure what it is

geordie lass - this will make you feel better. There's no such thing as full fat Coke, because it contains very little fat. Just LOADS AND LOADS of sugar, which of course your body will convert to fat if you don't need the energy. Oh and it rots your teeth too.

Actually, maybe that won't make you feel better...
 
Today's chod:

Breakfast - Sultana Bran with semi-skimmed milk.

Breaktime - 2 bourbon biscuits and a packet of mini Cheddars.

Lunch - Spinach and feta cheese pastry thing (YUM - I do like school dinners sometimes) with mashed potato, broccoli and carrots. Er, followed by apple crumble. Oops.

Afternoon snack - Pear, clementine and choc orange bar :oops:

Tea - yes, I'm Northern and call it tea. We're going round the inlaws cos Jim isn't back from working in London until 8 - and it's homemade meat and potato pie type thing with veg.

Drinks - I've already had a pint of red grape juice, a litre of water and 2 small cups of lemon squash.

Actually that doesn't look too bad written down :cheer:
