Aww I can't wait to do mine!

I've been planning the wording for about 2 years haha, I'm just going to write pretty much the same as you essjaypea, short and sweet and to the point.
I know what you mean though hun, FB announcements always used to make me feel a bit funny when we were WTT and TTC... Not upset exactly, that's the wrong word, it just sort of intensifies your own feelings doesn't it and makes you go 'I SOOOO wish that was me!'

except for one announcement which appeared about an hour after my AF in our first month TTC, that one made me cry! I was always really happy for people though once I got over that initial green eyed monster, and liked seeing peoples scans etc. I can understand people who have had trouble TTC or losses being really upset and I would hate to think I might upset someone unintentionally, but I am a FB addict and use it to keep in touch with family/friends who live away, so if I don't do an announcement then it will be difficult to get round everyone to tell them.
I cannot abide FB pregnancy moaners though! Omg I've had to use the hide button a few times with girls moaning about how sick, tired and fat they feel, grr. One girl even complaining that all the summer clothes are in the shops and she will be too fat to wear them! Would you not rather have a baby than a new dress, love?! Don't get me wrong I think we all need to rant sometimes but your OH or a forum is the place to do it, not facebook. I also don't like scan photos used as profile pics, its like a constant rubbing it in peoples faces as even when they are posting something non-preg related there's a little pic next to it going 'don't forget I am preggo!'
We should do a PF girls facebook code of practice haha... 'thou can do a pregnancy announcement and enjoy sharing your lovely news with family and friends but thou shall try to never be a pregnancy moaning minnie or go on about it too much'!
