OMG, baby goes mental when i drink it!

Had a terrible cough and cold a couple of weeks ago now and had a bit of Lucozade to pick me up and the baby was doing loop the loops then. Had a small bottle today as feeling like I was going to fall asleep at my desk and baby poking me like mad.

Probably not too good to drink regularly i imagine as it's full of sugar and baby is probably getting a bit of a sugar rush but it is amusing!

how cute! ryan went crazy when i had a tiny glass on champagne on my wedding day

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: mine is the same when I eat chocolate, he goes crazy then gets the hiccups for a bit.

That's what I had to drink about 3/4 of a pint of for my Glucose Test- :puke: try drinking it on a totally empty stomach, I was so nearly sick!

oh well i must be wrong, gonna get myself a bottle today :cheer:

My GP keeps telling me to drink more of it. He says he uses it as a medicine (says the guy who won't go in for the heart surgery, he would rather take a couple of aspirin a day and then moan about the fact he has to have breakfast to have the aspirin).

I can't stand the stuff :puke:

Lucozade was the most amazing stuff when I was in labour....kept me going and was so refreshing! Little tip there for you girls ;)

Ive had a thing for orange lucozade the last few days....drank a bottle a day!!

It doesnt give me energy but keeps me up till gone 2am...so will have to try something else me thinks.

It's not just the sugar content its the caffeine in it too that gets the LO's going, maybe you heard something about the caffeine Chezza?

It is very refreshing and I'd probably drink it quite often but if I have too much caffeine I get palpitations :wall:

I just had to send a bottle back when my tesco shopping arrived. I had ordered an original bottle but they sent an orange one instead. I wasn't sure if I could drink the orange lucozade for the lucozade blood test? I thought it may have more sugar or the different ingredients may affect the results. Does anyone know?
