Blood test high blood sugar 28 weeks

Hello,

Had my 28 week appt on we'd and had bloods taken. Phoned today to say blood sugar was a bit high and I've to go for a fasting blood test next Wednesday, then have lucozade,then another test.

Is this something to worry about or is this quite common? I wasn't told to fast before the bloods were taken at 28week appt. I'm a bit concerned my fondness for chocolate has buggered up me and baby

It's called a gtt glucose tolerance test your being tested for gestational diabetes xx

I had the test on Monday as my mom and nan had diabetes when they were in their 70s. It's nothing to worry about x x
