I'm sorry it didn't happen this month, although i'm under the impression that it's part and parcel of PCOS? So maybe it's not like that every cycle?

I'm sure the doctor will have something to give you to sort you out.

Fingers crossed shell refer me- if she says the borderline pcos is not they problem I'm gona make her do something cos there's clearly something happen and she's out of her depth!! Jus refer me!!!!!!!! Aghhhhhhhhhh!!!

Massive hugs drummers wife xx

Hope your doctor refers you pronto xxx

well my gp = chocolate teapot!! :(
have to wait to see when AF arrives to see if progesterone level is an accurate amount- i.e if long cycle then would ov late so test wouldnt show correct amount - which is fair point

but then i suggested if it is correct amount surely if im not ovulating all this waiting is wasting time - i do not meet criteria cos we havent been trying the full 2 years and my weight i.e. bmi is still too high and needs to be under 30 before we can procede! end of!

just have to plough on with the weight loss and hopefully when i move the gp in wales will be more understanding x x

hello hun. just thought i'd pop by and say that when i had my 21 day bloods done it came back at 29. my doctors told me it was fine but research told me it should be at least 30 (i checked with two drs and both said 29 is ok). anyway, i think louise is right, i have pcos (mild) and i think it means a different result each time, i know maybe baby's has changed a lot as well although she doens't have pcos.

anyway, my point is, i naturally fell pregnant a while later so i assume the levels went back up again so dont lose all hope xxxx

Sorry it wasnt better news hun, some GP's are so stubborn!!

I hope you are able to lose the weight quickly so you can get referred x

Well after speaking to a friend who's a gp - looks like I should give metformin a trial for 3 mnths sooooo got a prescription and am starting metformin today x x fingers crossed :D
Worth a try to help the PCOS x x

Oooh good for you Hun with the Metformin, hope it works, just catching up at the mo, my CD21 were a bit up and down but obviously I OV because I get preggers!

Have you been having them on CD21?

If your cycles aren't 28 days then you need to be having them 7 days after OV for an accurate result, if this is too hard to predict then you need to do 3 in a cycle around when you think OV would be to give an even more accurate result.

It really annoys me when the docs go on about BMIs as high BMI's can be a symptom of PCOS and not your fault also how many women with higher than average BMI's have healthy babies every day! Grrrrr!

:dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

xx

Also Hun, aren't you 40ish, correct me if I'm wrong? You should have been referred ages ago if that's the case, your GP needs a kick up the arse!

xx
