Low PAPP-A

Hi ladies

Is anyone else suffering from this?

I recieved a letter in the post last week to confirm results on combined test but it also read that I have low PAPP-A which was never explained to me before.

I have my 16 week midwife appointment on Thursday so have a ton of questions to ask but just wondered if anyone else was suffering from this.

I had low papp a with my last pregnancy she was born in April 2018.
It a hormone produced in pregnancy that can affect growth of the baby and the function of the placenta.
You should be offered growth scans every 3 weeks from 28 weeks to check the growth of the baby and the cord and to see if the blood flow is good etc.
Some trusts offer an induction around your due date however mine didnt and o went 10 days over. She was 8lb6oz so a good size.
