lost my maternity notes

I am totally freaking out. I cannot find my maternity notes anywhere. I went to the GP last week, and had them then, then had to go back to my parents for a funeral, but i'm pretty sure they came back home with me.

I'm in a total panic. What do I do if I have lost them?

oh no hun. yeah let your gp/mw know. if you have left them there you would hope they would call you but you know what some are like.

i lost mine and mine were huge as i was high risk and everything was complicated , i was so worried and they just laughed and went thru and copied what they had and gave me a new set! mine have never turned up!! xx

| don't know why something like this has set me off. It's so unlike me to misplace something like this, I have a horrible feeling that they have been accidentally thrown away. It's just that they had everything in them, scan results, fetal heartrate tracking, etc etc, I wanted to keep the whole pack for memories as well. I guess I'm lucky in that I haven't had a complicated pregnancy, but still...I'm really fed up and annoyed and upset.

called the midwife and they have told me to come in on Thurs afternoon for an hour and they will rewrite the important things for me on a new set of notes.

i think so. wanting him to arrive now. you must be so excited to be close to finding out whether you are having a boy/girl. any thoughts?

you never know notes may just randomly appear again. at least mw is happy to go through it all and fill them back in.xxx

My husband just found my notes!!! After spending nearly 4 hours turning the house upside down getting worked up and stressed out he found them hanging in a bag on the back of the kitchen door. I swear I'm losing my bleeding mind...

Take copies of your notes if you want to keep them as you dont get them back after the birth
