I lost a bit of my plug a few weeks ago (you may remember i posted about it?) i contacted my midwife because OH was worried when i showed him it and called her for me  ! my MW seemed pretty Pd off that i was calling /wasting her time, but i KNOW it was my plug as it was a big ball of clear snot (sorry) bigger than the size of a 50p and was losing bits of it all day and the next morning then it stopped totaly. i never seen anything like it as i was induced with DD so never saw it then, but it pinged together like thick egg white  . well, i lost some more yesterday (more than last time) but i thought it would be silly to mention as nothing happened before and i worried for nothing. well iv been getting braxton hicks since about 11 o'clock. they didnt hurt this morning but tonight they seem to be quite sore as im sat here. Little one is moving around and kicking about alot and i seem to have had a little diorreah  should i be concerned??

hmm i'd think about heaading down to the day unit or going to see your midwife to see if they can check you out.
23 weeks is EARLY and if it is something you should be worried about then the earlier they see you the better.
dont let one midwife put you off seeking some help when your worried.
ptl can happen, but also it can be stopped too.

go get checked out, even just to put your mind at rest.

Hi,

I don't want to alarm you at all and many people lose their plug then nothing happens (like what happened to you a few weeks ago). I lost my plug in my 24th week of pregnancy then had a big bleed and what i asssumed were b. hicks but it was actually contractions and I went into labour which they could not stop. I would def get it checked out, it would only involve a quick internal to check your cervix is still closed then you can stop worrying.

Hope everything is ok xx

Yeah call your midwife or consultant ASAP and if you don't like what they tell you, ask for a second opinion. As your little one is moving around it all sounds ok, but it is always best to get these things checked out. Good luck.

its your baby not your midwifes and if you have any concerns they need to address them, i would get it checked out for your own peace of mind if nothing else and dont worry about what your midwife thinks.

Go get it checked out, if anything to put your mind at ease, we don't want you stressed!!

Ditto what the others have said- go and get it checked JIC xxx

Hope you've been and got it checked hun!? Everythings ok!!

i would get it checked - i wouldn't stop worrying without.

Have you had someone check you over? I seem to remember a few people on here lost their plus earlier on and they have happy and healthy babies :D

i was really scared last time but nothing happened so i dont know weather to be worried or not iykwim?? iv had a few tightnings today but nothing too bad

hope everythings ok hun, and if the pain gets worse id go to the hospital if i was you hun or at least see the m/w as they should be able to put your mind at rest, if they think your wasting their time then i would get another midwife as they are paid to help us through our pregnancy and to aid us in putting our minds at rest.

glad you are feeling better baby&i

please dont feel like you are wasting midwives time.... that is what they are paid to do, even if they do sound peeved off!!
