Line fainter today than yesterday- panicking!

Right I'm really starting to panic now. I've taken a first response today with first morning urine and the line is so faint. How can it be much fainter than a test I took days ago.

Have you missed period yet? I know you tested early. I think once you have missed period you should get your go to run bloods 2 days apart to check levels. That’s the only thing that will put your mind at rest.
Hopefully it’s just one of those weird things. X

I don’t think the Doctors would do that for you here in the UK unless you have a history of recurrent miscarriage, it’s not something they do as standard even if your worried about MC, they just tell you you’ve got to wait and see what happens when it’s still very early on

Was your fmu dark in colour princess? Sometimes mine is actually quite dilute if I’ve drank
a lot of water before bed and afternoon urine better, is the line a lot lighter?

I can't send a picture today as I haven't got my laptop. Yes urine was very dark although I did drink a small drink about an hour before I went to bed. It's a lot like the lighter. My period is due tomorrow. You can see the line but it is faint. Its about the same as the line I got last Tuesday. Wednesdays was darker and since then it's been fainter

It’s still very early days so hopefully it’s just the hcg taking a bit of time to get into your urine, it’s all so scary in these early stages but try not to panic the only thing you can do now really is wait and see

Stop panicking princess it won’t be helping. If you’ve had a clear blue then that is what I would rely on over all of the others because it is more reliable. It’s hard I know but try not to test again until a day after AF is due and maybe try another clear blue?

You can get a false negative but not a false positive. If you have had positives then you are pregnant m’dear. xx

Depends on the gp. Mine did with ds when I had bleeding to check if the pregnancy was progressing. That was at about 5 weeks and I got a scan at 7 weeks too.

The worst thing is that I can't try for a while now as I have a wedding to go to next year. Just sat in car crying and should be in work. Feel silly that I'm so upset

Oh princess I am so so sorry, I know how utterly gutting it is, it’s not silly at all to be so upset, I cried too when it happened to me, this ttc game is like a rollercoaster so many ups and downs - but the downs are just heartbreaking, take care of yourself and do whatever you need to do to make yourself feel better right now, here to talk if you need to xx

It's not often the Clear Blue digitals with weeks are incorrect, they're normally pretty accurate and are less sensitive so you need a more elevated hormone level.

Was the one that said 'not pregnant' a Clear Blue?

I had a false positive last year on a Superdrug digital, came up pregnant then every other test had either a faint line (now know were evap lines) or, negative. In the end, I asked the Dr for a blood test 4 days after my period was due and it came back negative. So gutting, but was good to know once and for all.

My period is due today. I had positive on first response from Tuesday last week. Was a decent line on Wednesday but then from Thursday was having fainter lines. I did clearblue digital on Thursday Friday sat and Sun and all positive 1-2 weeks but other tests were starting to give faint lines or nothing. Did clear blue digital thhis morningand says not pregnant. Definitely a chemical I think

Aw so sorry princess. I know how heartbreaking it can be, especially when you get so excited and start to make plans. Why is it you can’t try again for a while? Is this wedding so important you can’t be pregnant at it? There’s never a ‘right’ time and something else may drop up... i don’t know your circumstances but if I was you I’d just keep trying and see what happens

It's an abroad wedding which has all been paid for so if I try straight away I'll be due when we are out there. Can't be due the month after either because of flying restrictions. It will just feel so wrong not trying this month.
