Line fainter today than yesterday- panicking!

Ok so I'm obsessed with peeing on stick and I've done another P test this morning 5 day before missed period and it's fainter than yesterday. used the same test for both and used FMU and didn't drink much last night so I know it wasn't diluted. Now I'm panicking. Am I being paranoid or is it something I should keep an eye on. The top one is today's.

It's so easy to obsess with peeing on sticks and over analysing the lines. I know it's hard, and frustrating, but my advice is be patient and wait until the day your period is due or even better, 1 or 2 days after and then use a Clear Blue Digital.

The digital tests are so much more specific, and you can rest assured you're not seeing an evap line or something. I had a false positive last year when testing a few days before my period and it drove me bonkers. For me, if the line isn't dark it's not enough to convince me it's a line but, in your pics I can clearly see a line on both.

Good luck and fingers crossed, for something so exciting it's equally so stressful.

HCG takes 48hrs to double so you shouldn't test more often than once every 48hrs. Otherwise you get weird results.

There is not really any difference. Don’t panic, take a breather and test again in a few days, you are so early on you are lucky you are getting a line at all xx

Those one step tests are awful, there’s barely any dye in them and there’s no way they are 10mii even though they are supposed to be, so I wouldnt worry about what result they show you as you cant rely on it

I know, I kept reading that the one steps were good so I panicked even more when they are practically negative when I take them. I'm going to take another first response tomorrow and hope it's not even fainter.

It's hard because you take tests a day closer to your period and expect there to be a stonger line especially when using FMU.

I'm a terrible worrier.

I suppose it is really early 5 days before missed period

My positive was 12Dpo and was INCREDIBLY faint lol it didn’t get darker until 6 weeks x

I didn't get dark lines on those one step tests until around 6+wks pregnant.

Thanks all. I've done another one step and it's negative. Really disheartening. I'm sure you're all right. I haven't got any first responses to do one with first morning urine to see if it's any lighter tomorrow.

At 12dpo I got an incredibly faint on an internet cheapy
I then did a clear blue and saw a line instantly
Then did a digi clearblue and it said pregnant 2-3
This was around 4 weeks pregnant my progression line with internet cheapies was slow tho and even the doctors tests at week 5 were still faint.
But by week 6 I had strong positives.

I've done a clearblue digital this morning and it came back as pregnant 1-2 weeks. Done an Internet cheap and it's negative. Want to so a first response to see if line any different today.

Throw away the internet cheapys princess honestly just throw them away! I wouldn’t bother doing another test yet I would wait until the day after AF was due, although I know how hard it is not to test when you just want that reassurance that your lines are getting darker,

You got your bfp early which is normally a very good sign, If it’s any reassurance to you there’s tons of research which shows the earlier the implantation the better the chance for the pregnancy as it usually means it was a healthy egg which divided correctly and quickly and got to where it needed to be quickly (I researched the hell out of it when I had a chemical and didn’t get a faint line till 14dpo)

Thanks all.. I saved my fmu this morning (so pathetic) and drove around everywhere trying to find a first response to compare it with yesterday's but could only find a rapid response. I don't think they are as sensitive but did it anyway and was a bit worried that it would be negative but did it and it was strong than yesterday's with a fainter test
