I suffer from very bad leg cramps...extremely painful but the midwife told me to drink some Tonic Water (Plain or Bitter Lemon flavour) as the "Quinine" in the tonic water stops the cramps.
Since drinking Tonic Water an hour or so before bed (or throughout the day) my cramps have disappeared. They only come back if i forget to drink Tonic Water.
A bottle per day does the trick.
Milk, Cheese etc didn't work at all.....
