My brother looks after he kids twice a week and he always cleans my kitchen and lounge whilst he's here! If my sister is really stuck for cash she comes over to help me blitz the house and I give her some pennies :)

Ah thats nice of your brother terrie.....yeah I used to do that with my sis shes a workaholic and never stops but she moved to Austria lol!

Well Im no onslo but my Mrs Buck'et days are over....as long as its clean and tidy thats fine with me! lol xx

The thing with my house is it's just a run down house. We bought it because it was cheap and I was pregnant, it needs a fresh lick of paint and we are planning a new kitchen for next year. No mattter how much you clean this place it will never look nice until we rip it apart and redo each room.

Ah at least you can stuck into it terrie and put your own stamp on it! I love decorating....well actually no thats a lie but I love the end result when everythings fresh and new and you can just chill out...ahhhhhh! Decorator anyone?? lol x

Well I'm getting on top of my laundry woop woop, got abouT 3 loads to do tomorrow and then that's it, it's all done!

I sat and sorted through all the kids socks, ones that were too small went into the salvation army bag and the rest were all sorted into pairs woop woop!

In my previous abodes my mum used to let herself in when I was at work and steal my washing! The next time I went to visit them I collected it all, washed, ironed and on hangers or folded, or she would bring it back and leave it for me! And it was a joint effort, my dad was in the army and can iron like no one else I know. He's registered blind so does go by touch, if you can't cut your finger on a crease then it's just not ironed properly!!
They still do it for my sister (who is older than me!) but my mum is petrified of dogs so wont let herself in to our house because of Bru now. I loved when the washing fairy visited!!

Ha well done terrie....i know I think your post promted me to get my finger out too and so our utility room baskets are looking good but I dare say the child will still have a mountain! Just as well she is domesticated and knows how to wash too! lol xx

Ah Megs....Thats so lovely of your mam to do that for you! My sis was a bit like that but she takes it too far.....your literally eating the last mouthfull of food from your plate and shes taking your plate away! lol
Washing and ironing fairy or Bru......Hmmmm Bru has to go! lol xxx

 aww @ washing fairy! I wish I had one!!!

She is a star, not so good if there's any 'risque items' from the night before in there though ;) She does tell me to fill a washing bag so she can collect it, I draw the line. Your thread has prompted me to have two wash loads on already this morning Terrie, I'm so easily influenced!!!
