Laila/Layla/Leila

How would you spell Laila, Layla, Leila?

I like the Laila spelling, my OH likes the Layla spelling, but in my baby naming book I noticed the traditional and origional spelling is Leila, which I also like. Actually I like all the spellings, so now I'm confused.
What would you go with? Thanks for your help

I think that there be a subtle difference in the way people pronounce layla (laayla) and Leila (leela) IYKWIM

yeh same here , id say there were 2 different names , i prefere leila ( prenounced leela) but like laila alot aswell ! i couldnt have leila myself now tho , would be a bit difficult if they both decided to shorten there names to lee

Definately Layla for me. It's a lovely name. I think the different spellings reflect the different cultures the name is from?? Maybe?
