In Fife there have been instances of first time mums getting home after 6 hours. Ibdo think they try to avoid it as much as they can, and would rather you were there for at least 24 if it's your first.

I didnt mind being in longer the first time - because it is your first! Its a bit harsh to expect you to head home with this new bundle and not atleast monitor!

Next time Ill be outta there like a bat outta hell should they let me.

I guess it must not be policy in my hospital as all my notes were fine, obs were good. If I get another easy labour Ill be mentioning about leaving on the way to the ward!

Has anyone used the hair removal cream all over? I have pretty sensitive skin anyway so don't really want to risk it during pregnancy. They usually just say for bikini line only!

Id do a patch test at the corner of where your hair starts and see how you get on.
