Just a quick question for those with spd. If you have sij belts or tubi grips like they've given me do you wear it to sleep? I don't wear mine but in absolute agony in bed but scared It's gonna roll up and squash my bump when i go to sleep xxx

I didn't wear mine was told not to . Just had lots of pillows under and between everything !! Xxx

i sleep with a pillow between my legs, seems to help xx

me too, I don't wear the belt at night but pillows help, although rolling over is painful but I was told not to wear it in bed

I've tried loads of pillows and the best thing for me is sleeping sitting up so i stuff an extra duvet behind me to prop me up but always end up really stiff in the mornings. Leg thing does work a bit but It's when i turn over its agony :-(

Lewisca did your spd go once you had the baby? Xxx

Yer it did took couple of weeks to go properly. And every now and then get a bit of a twinge but nothing like it was !! Xxx

I can't wait. Really hope that happens to me. So glad I'm getting induced next Monday. Don't know how much more of this I can take :-( xxx

I was the same!! had it in all 3 of my pregnancies and was induced at 38 weeks this time cos of it . But the end is in sight and once u have lo in your arms it will all b worth it !! Xxx

It's horrible. Everyone keeps saying get all the sleep you can now but i can't get to sleep till about 3am. Dreading when babys here I don't want to.be a ratty mum. I'm getting induced because he has too much water around him. Really wish it was because of the spd though. Wish I had a smooth pregnancy. Can't wait till he's here and i can be normal again xxx

Oh bless ya Hun !! I have slept better since I had Rhea !! Although she is a good sleeper ! Not much longer to go Hun xxx

Can't wait for that. I know 8 days and counting hehe xxx

As the others have said, was told not to wear either in bed. Awful isnt?! i cant lay on either side very long as my hip starts to hurt but changing sides is horrendous!! At least the end is in sight for you. The only tip i find that sometimes it helps not to lay totally on your side, ie use pillows to prop you up so you are leaning slightly forward or backward xx

I've tried that but always have to get it at the right angle. Just the slightest movement is agony. I cant wait for it all to be over now xxx

Aaaww, i know, ive ended up in tears numerous times from it! Just 8 days to get through though xx i have 8 weeks left :-(

I was like that too but it does go fast. Do you take anything for it? x

I tried paracetamol but it doesnt work so dont take anything. im signed off work so i just rest a lot, avoid driving and wear my belt when out and about x

See i avoid paracetomol cos im scared it might affect the baby. Yeah ive been trying to rest but they gave me a tubi grip and need oh to help me put it on. Its amazing what we go through during pregnancy i nevr would have thought of pelvis problems x x x
