Lactulose?

Ive previously been px lactulose for constipation to help with my IBS when its deciding to misbehave!

I just wondered if anyone had taken lactulose when pregnant to combat their constipation? its said to be unharmful during pregnancy but i just wanted to know if anyone else has taken it.

The hospital sent me home with a huuuuge great bottle of it, because I hadn't pooped in almost a week

Fybogel is good too, but if you already have Lactulose, why bother buying different?

Ive used it in first tri but have upgraded to fybogel now as lactulose was too slow x its fine to take x i have same issue

I found the lactulose to be quite slow at taking effect, i was given this after I gave birth to my daughter by em csection as I was struggling to go!!! Recommend fybogel, although touch wood not needed it as yet during pregnancy although my IBS seems to be making an appearance again!
