I obviously don't have any experience but I'd think of.... lots of arts and crafts things? Like going out into the woods with them to collect pine cones and then decorate them at home? Make their own wee ornaments and christmas cards?
Obviously the ceremonious writing of THE list.

That's what I'm after

Sometimes we get so bogged down with 'adult stuff' a thread with lots of fun christmas things to remind us that simple things keep us and the kids entertained and we could make them yearly traditions too

Paper chains
Christmas printing - pictures/wrapping paper/tags
Making cards - we did cotton wool snowmen cards last year
Salt dough decorations (must find a recipe)

Making Xmas cards for daddy Nan etc

Decorating cakes

We tried paper chains last year, disaster!! This year it will be making and decorating saltdough and gingerbread! And I'm going to make wrapping paper and cards! Going to do their handprints as a tree and get them to decorate them!
