Just wondering what activities etc you take your baby/toddler to? What would you highly recommend or suggest etc? I've already enrolled little Pudding in baby swimming lessons and realise untill he's 6 months (ish) a lot of places don't do anything for 'newborns' type thing, I've been looking at Gymbabes (6 months - walking version of Tumble Tots) but just wondered what else you might have done/experienced?? I am a member of the NCT too so any of their activities come highly recommended? I just worry as Pudding will be an only child and I don't want him getting to pre-prep school thinking he can have what ever, when ever type thing so want to get him involved with other babies/toddlers.

Thanks!

We go swimming, mother and baby group, Jo Jingles and to the soft play area in the leisure centre. It is good for her as she gets to be with other children, and is learning to share with them. She is very shy so she still enjoys spending time with me so we do activites just the two of us too, like go to the park, swings or the lake to feed the ducks.

We started doing all these things when she was about 6 months, before that we just went swimming and spent the early days just together, there wasn't any activities for newborns here either, but to be honest I don't think she would have benefited from it. :D

I really enjoyed baby massage and it helped a lot with his colic too when he was so tiny. It was recommended by my MW and is something i would like to do again when this baby comes along if there is a course available.
Also signing is nice, you know like sign language for babies..... although my son was maybe a little too young when i first took him he still enjoyed the interaction with the other babies.

D is going to start swimming in June and is on the waiting list for baby massage.

I think seeing other childrena nd been held by others is enough at his age

We go to baby yoga and also to a local kindermusick group which is singing and dancing and just fun things. Debs really enjoys staring at the other babies and children. I'm hoping to take her to tinytalk as well, which is sign language for babies.

we also do baby massage and luke loves it.
