Its not a case of not mentioning other forums, however advertising other forums is not allowed so it can be a fine line if you see what I mean. It is in the forum rules that you will have agreed to. Its not just about one forum, its any forum similar to this one and it wouldn't be fair to have one rule for one, and another for all the others. This way is the fairest.

Sorry My understanding of the rules was that links to other forums was not permited and advertising of commercial products was not permited.

I never post links anyway so it doesn't affect me.
