i know that if you fall pregnant before working 15 weeks for your employer you get state maternity pay, but does this also mean your employer doesnt have to keep your job open if you want to come back? anybody know?

You're entitled to full maternity LEAVE no matter how long you've been working for them, and all the right that go with it like your employer having to keep your job open for you. It's just the pay that's affected by length of service.

thanks hun. i was just getting abit worried as i have just applied for a fantastic job, and have a chance of getting it, but i didnt want to stop TTC and then lose the job after having the baby
